This kit is comparable to the 505 model - the only difference is the head shape - they both have the same interior parts, power, torque & motor. The 555 has a curved head making grooming large animal stock easier. The 505 is also ideal for large animal grooming, it has a straight head. It is just preference of a curved or straight head.
